The International Game Developers Association is a non-profit professional society that is committed to advancing the careers and enhancing the lives of game developers by connecting members with their peers, promoting professional development, and advocating on issues that affect the developer community. What is IGDA Estonia?

IGDA Estonia is the local Estonian chapter of the IGDA. Our mission is to develop Estonian gaming scene and unite together individuals and companies of our game industry to further develop and promote international recognition of the Estonian game developer’s community.

Between 01.10.2019–31.09.2021, the European Regional Development Fund co-funds a project called “Estonian Game Industry Development Plan” EU53609 with NGO IGDA Estonia. Total project cost is € 250 000,00 of which € 200 000,00 come from the Fund.

NGO Estonia is a Tallinn, Estonia-based organization and an official branch of International Game Developers Association (IGDA). Founded in 2015 our main goal is to support game industry and companies by bringing international networking opportunities and organizing events with focus on additional business skills.
Estonian Game Industry Development Plan is a series of regular events, such as Game Jams, regular meet-ups, game developer conferences and international trade fair visits.

Main goals of this project are:

  • Iincreasing communication and cooperation between games and other creative media, for example film industry važna web stranica.
  • Increasing export in the industry by providing additional business and marketing knowledge.
  • Increasing sustainability of the companies and connecting existing potential to entrepreneurship.
